Brandon graduated from Mount Si High School in Snoqualmie, WA. He then attended and graduated from Pacific Lutheran University where he earned a degree in History and Communications. Before graduating, Brandon’s love for ministry began growing through his involvement with Ignite Campus Ministry at PLU. By the time he graduated, Brandon was part of the core leadership team of Ignite Campus Ministry for three years, helping oversee men’s discipleship and prayer ministry. (Brandon also found time to become an All-American catcher on the PLU baseball team.)
After college, Brandon immediately stepped into full-time ministry, focusing primarily on giving leadership to young adult ministries in the South Sound area. This included being part of the leadership of the International House of Prayer Northwest and Thrive Young Adult Ministries from 2009 to 2014. In 2014, Brandon began his post-graduate education at Western Seminary in Portland, OR; where he graduated with his Master's in Biblical Theology in 2018.
Brandon’s call to Lighthouse began in 2015, where he served as the pastor of High School ministries for three years, leading students into a deeper and fuller love for Jesus Christ as well as being a member of the Preaching Team and Family Ministry Team. In October of 2018, Brandon was installed as the lead pastor of Lighthouse following the retirement of LCC’s founding pastor of 25 years, Art Hunt.
Outside of being the lead pastor of LCC, Brandon and his wife Jennifer love spending as much time as possible with friends and family, finding great food and coffee in the area, keeping up with the Seattle Mariners, and staying extra busy with four energetic children.
