What is Weekend to Remember?
Weekend to Remember is a marriage conference for engaged and married couples. The conference is offered over a Friday night through Sunday afternoon at a hotel or resort location. You will be encouraged, given hope, and receive tools that will build and grow your relationship with one another.
What makes this conference special?
Family Life has specialized in marriage conferences for years, featuring skilled speakers who share their expertise and personal experiences to help you be encouraged and grow in your marriage. Volunteers are available to answer your questions and give you direction for when you come home from the weekend. Homework is provided for next steps after your weekend away.
Some conferences also offer a pastoral couple emphasis or military couple emphasis.

What is the weekend schedule?
The atmosphere for the getaway is laid-back so get ready to have a relaxing weekend with your spouse! As far as attire for the weekend, feel free to wear what you like. You will see a spectrum of people coming from work on Friday and dressed up to those in jeans and a shirt. We want you to feel comfortable. We will start promptly at 7:00 p.m. with our welcome session.
Each session is approximately an hour and fifteen minutes and will be followed by a fifteen-minute break. The sessions are in lecture format so there is no need to get nervous about small group

What is the group discount?
Without the group discount, resort locations are $175 per person. With the discount, resort locations are $124.99.

Why should a pastoral couple attend?
All couples need time away to invest in their marriage and reconnect, particularly those who face the special challenges and rewards of pastoral ministry. Only you and your spouse need to know that you are a pastor. The focus should be on time away without pastoral responsibilities.
Each conference has a pastoral project booklet available. Some conferences offer sessions just for pastoral couples.

Why should a military couple attend?
The military discounted rate is $49.99 per person. This special rate is available for active duty, guard, and reserve couples. This rate covers the cost for registration only and may be used at any getaway location. To register for a Weekend to Remember at the special rate of $49.99 per person, please call 1-800-358-6329 between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm CST. Hotel and meals are extra. Please contact the getaway hotel for reservation and rates.
